Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) combines increased atmospheric pressure with high-concentration oxygen. Under pressure, more oxygen can dissolve into the plasma and circulate throughout the body, creating an oxygen-rich environment that supports natural processes involved in recovery and tissue repair.

HBOT increases oxygen availability throughout the body and is used medically for specific conditions as well as incorporated into recovery and performance routines. Depending on your goals, HBOT may support tissue repair, recovery, oxygen delivery and overall cellular function.

The biggest differences are pressure capability, construction and oxygen delivery. Soft chambers typically operate at lower pressures, while professional hard-shell chambers can achieve higher therapeutic pressures. ETHR LAB uses European-made hard-shell chambers built with advanced Japanese technology, have high air ventilation rates, smoother pressurization, and capable of reaching up to 2.0 ATA.

Our hard-shell hyperbaric chambers can operate at pressures up to 2.0 ATA. Your pressure and session protocol are selected based on the type of session and your individual goals. First-time clients can experience our 45-minute HBOT Trial for $99 at up to 1.5 ATA.

There isn’t one universal number. The ideal frequency depends on your goals, health history and reason for using HBOT. Some clients incorporate occasional sessions into their recovery routine, while others follow a structured series of treatments. Our team can help determine an appropriate protocol after discussing your goals.

Most ETHR LAB HBOT appointments are approximately 60 minutes and 90 minutes, depending on the selected protocol.

HBOT has an established history of medical use when administered appropriately. Before your session, our team reviews relevant health and safety considerations with you. Our hard-shell chambers feature continuous communication, an emergency button, high air circulation and a door that does not mechanically lock during treatment.

Yes, children may be able to use HBOT when appropriate and with the necessary medical clearance and adult supervision. ETHR LAB’s chambers are spacious enough to accommodate a child and parent together, which can make the experience significantly more comfortable for younger clients.

Yes! After your session, you can jump right back into your day. Whether you’re heading to the gym, work, or just running errands, you’ll feel ready to go.

HBOT contraindications include but are not limited to: claustrophobia, optic neuritis, recent eye surgery, history of seizure disorder, congenital spherocytosis, viral infections, and chronic sinusitis.

Yes, we are able to stop the session and get clients out for any reason. Please allow 5-10 minutes smooth decompression process to take place. In case of serious emergency, we can get clients out in less than 1 minute depending on their compression stage at the time.

New ETHR LAB clients can experience a 45-minute HBOT Trial for $99. We also offer individual sessions and multi-session options for clients incorporating HBOT into an ongoing recovery or wellness routine. ETHR LAB accepts HSA and FSA payments for eligible purchases.

ETHR LAB does not bill or accept health insurance for HBOT. However, HSA and FSA funds may be used for eligible HBOT treatments, depending on your plan. We recommend checking with your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm eligibility.
